NanoGlobes is currently engaged in research and development into the use of Nano and Micro technology in
production of next generation of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags and readers. Extensive use of
Universities research and prototyping facilities is being made in this venture.

NanoGlobes current products include:

  • A Wireless LAN security enforcer and network access permission granter utilizing Smart cards and
    USB tokens.

  • An Ultra High Speed PCI serial RS232, RS422/485  communication adapter for servers.

  • A USB based smart card reader/writer  for PCs and laptops.

  • An RS422/485 PIN Pad with keyboard and graphic LCD.

  • An ARM processor based EFTPOS  for processing smart credit/debit cards  at the point of sale, "CHIP
    & PIN".

  • A palm size touch screen smart card terminal for accessing and modifying information on the smart
    card on the move.
